My name is Rob Haanen, owner of Peninsula Piano Tuning & Service. I have been in the industry for 13+ years. I received my training  through the Piano Technicians Guild (PTG) and apprenticing under Ingrid Kraft, RPT Piano Technicians Guild. I also worked for David Nichols, co-owner with Ingrid Kraft of Pianos Now! Beaverton, Oregon. I recently relocated to Kasilof, Alaska from the Mt. Hood, Oregon area in May of 2022. I am an active member of the PTG Alaska Chapter.

Many on the Kenai Peninsula are familiar with life time resident and retired Piano Technician, Tim Nixon (RPT). Tim was a technician for 30+ years. Although Tim is retired from tuning, he graciously shares his skills and expertise with me regularly at his shop.

I live in Kasilof with my wife and step-son. We enjoy fishing and the outdoors. I also enjoy milling lumber, wood working and playing music in my spare time. 

It's my philosophy to provide the level of customer service that I would appreciate to each and every one of my customers!
